I was born and raised in a small town in Kansas, but moved to Oklahoma shortly after high school. I then moved to Alaska in 2008, where I spent the next 8 years as a stay-at-home mom to my 2 beautiful boys, until we moved to Colorado Springs in 2016.

Graduate Education:

• I graduated from Kaplan University in May 2013 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science for Medical Transcription.

Experience:

• I began my career in the medical field in 2013, when I started work as a medical transcriptionist. I then worked as a medical receptionist from 2019-2020, and I transitioned to billing and coding in 2020.

Special Interests:

• I'm an avid TV- and movie-watcher, but I also really enjoy playing video games and reading fiction novels.
