Juan Recinos, Chief Operations Officer
I am blessed to work in mental health and I am fortunate to have lived my life without the fear to take risks and calculated chances. I consider myself a Servant Leader, always putting the needs of the group and the center ahead of my own and helping everyone grow. I am privileged to work with amazing people every day at Bright Futures Psychiatry... there's nowhere I would rather be.
Graduate Education:

Experience:
Juan has been in leadership roles within the mental health and primary care setting for over 20 years.
He began his healthcare adventure as a Medic in the US Air Force, serving 4 years and being honorably discharged.
Since his Air Force days, Juan has lead both inpatient hospitals, outpatient multi-specialty psychiatric groups, as well as family practice groups.
At his tenure at the University of Florida (UF), Department of Psychiatry, Juan lead the expansion of the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program. This culminated with UF being identified as the #1 TMS provider in the State of Florida in a time when TMS was not yet covered by commercial insurance.
Juan has opened multiple private practices over the past 8 years, has served in various strategic positions for large and small mental health centers, as well as an internal expert at Magstim (TMS Medical Device Company).
These years of experience lead Juan to jump at the idea Erin had to start Bright Futures Psychiatry. We dove head 1st into launching Bright Futures Psychiatry, applying all the lessons learned over the years, skipping many pitfalls and setting a solid foundation from which to expand as the community needs it.
