Claire Hinkle, a graduate with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler, is a dedicated board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M University-Commerce in 2017. She then spent six years of her nursing career working with patients on an acute intermediate care unit. Here, she developed her passion for supporting the mental health of her patients while hospitalized. Claire is committed to helping improve the mental health of the patients she interacts with. She understands that not everyone is the same, and our differences can affect how we see the world and ourselves. She has a keen focus on diverse patient care, Claire is particularly committed to the well-being of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a proud member of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She combines her professional expertise with a love for hiking and outdoor activities with her wife and children in her leisure time.
